Open Day Invitation - The Launch of a New Microfiche Scanner
Genus - The Microfilm Shop with Wicks and Wilson, the microfilm scanner manufacturers, would like to invite you to the UK launch of the next generation of microfiche production scanners, delivering new levels of microfiche imaging performance. The new product brings a host of new features, technologies and workflows to microfiche digitisation projects for the first time:
- Completely redesigned optics, camera system and newly developed specialist microfiche imaging algorithms running on nVidia graphics processors, producing superior images with little or no user input.
- Unique and proven carrier feed system further developed to accommodate larger format 'jumbo' microfiche.
- Output to Wicks and Wilson's Virtual Scanstation software allows any post-scan checks or adjustments to be made offline, away from the scanner. No need to slow or stop the batch scanning process - the new Wicks and Wilson fiche scanner continues scanning at full speed.
- Optimisation and reconfiguration of the entire scanning process to increase throughput.
As the UK and Ireland distributors for Wicks and Wilson, Genus invites you to:
Genus, 15/16 Hammond Close, Nuneaton, Warwickshire. CV11 6RY on
Wednesday 20th July 2011 at 10.30.
